How do you communicate the impact of the nonprofit sector on a state as big as Texas? Same way you eat an elephant - one bite at a time. In 2019 I partnered with the United Ways of Texas to turn an overwhelming dataset into a compelling and engaging report for statewide distribution. By engaging the client in three distinct phases, I managed an efficient process that maximized everyone’s contribution to the final product.
How do you update the dress code for an iconic, eclectic brand like Kerbey Lane Cafe? As their Creative Director, I took on the dress code as the final element of our rebrand to stay relevant in the changing Central Texas community. My approach was inclusive but focused, engaging staff to make sure they stayed comfortable and considered as we rolled out the new look. By doing the work to have quality clothing and clear, attainable expectations, I headed off drama and leveled-up the customer experience.
How do you get Kerbey Queso off the shelves of Whole Foods and into the homes of eager Austinites? In 2016 I developed the high-quality, on-brand packaging that took Kerbey Lane Cafe beyond the restaurant and into the grocery store. Just like the queso, my process was made from scratch and turned out just right!
